Fed: Mores signs of easing in housing

New figures today point to a cooling in the housing market, with a drop in owner-occupied
housing finance in November.

The Australian Bureau of Statistics says the total housing finance commitments in November
were down 3.9 per cent, seasonally adjusted, compared to the previous month.

The bureau says the fall was driven by a 6.2 per cent fall in financing commitments
