Vic: Troubled Burnley tunnel to partly reopen today

Melbourne's troubled Burnley tunnel will partly reopen today -- a week after being
closed by a water leak which has not yet been fixed.

When the tunnel opens by 6am (AEDT), 1.5 kilometres -- about half the tunnel length
-- of one of the three lanes will be closed.

The $500 million tunnel's owner -- Transurban -- says the speed limit will be reduced
from 80kph to 60kph on that section.

It will remain closed for four to six weeks, and the entire tunnel will be closed for
short periods at night and on weekends while repairs are carried …
