NSW: Rescuer's body found by police

PERTH, April 3 AAP - The body of a 36-year-old rescue worker lost after a flash flood
in a remote gorge in Western Australia has been discovered by police.

Acting Inspector Murray Cowper said police divers discovered the body shortly after
4pm (WST) in Kermits Pool at Hancock Gorge in Karijini National Park.

Formal identification had not been completed but police were confident of the body's
identity, he said.
