SA: Australians should be cautious at Gallipoli says Downer
Foreign Minister ALEXANDER DOWNER has stopped short of advising Australians not totravel to Gallipoli for this week's Anzac Day services.
But following reports from Turkey that 35 al Qaeda terrorists had entered the country,Mr DOWNER says the federal government's urged all people to be very cautious travellingto the region.
He says the intelligence information relating to possible terrorist strikes has beendiscussed with the Turkish government.
The reports say terrorists trained by the al-Qaeda network are planning suicide bombingsor explosions this month on targets including businesses, airports and western aid agencies.
